Our Story

The Heart Behind Robins Nursing Care & Disability Support

Our Story Begins

Our journey was born from a deep desire to transform the way care and support are provided. With over 35 years of combined experience in the disability and aged care sectors, we have come to understand what true compassion looks like and how it should be delivered.

We realised that to uphold the standards we believe in, we had to create something of our own, free from external pressures and driven solely by purpose.

The Name That Found Us

Choosing a name that reflected our values and passion was not an easy task. Then, unexpectedly, the name Robin surfaced. It felt right, simple, yet meaningful. As we explored its significance further, we came across a powerful parable shared by Mother Teresa.

"There is a story of a little robin. He saw Jesus on the cross, saw the crown of thorns. The bird flew around, and around until he found a way to remove a thorn, and in removing the thorn stuck himself. Each of us should be that bird."

This story resonated deeply with us. It symbolised the courage to care, the willingness to act, and the quiet strength behind true service. That little robin became our emblem, a reflection of the heart behind everything we do.
